A Dream of Judgment
About Those Who Make Laws for God
39 pages containing an epic poem with Bible reference footnotes,
and including an appendix containing all the Bible references
used in both Old and New Testaments.
A Dream of Judgment is written for the express purpose of pointing up inconsistencies with certain legalistic judgments. The poem presents, in dramatic style, a legalist standing before the judgment seat of Christ to answer for his condemnation of the works of others based upon rules and regulations drawn by inference from New Testament events and commandments, and especially from the silence of scripture.
If you are fed up with legalistic requirements and like poetry, you will enjoy A Dream of Judgment. It is written in rhyming meter, and is divided into two parts: Part One, dealing mainly with the arguments that the legalist makes as to why Jesus should accept his judgments concerning others and their works; and Part Two, dealing with a failure to understand what the new covenant is, and showing how the legalist misunderstands the new covenant, and violates the freedom provided by the new covenant.
A Dream of Judgment has been used to help those coming out of cultism understand the nature of the legalism and bondage involved in the cult, and to aid in their transition to a freer and more joyful faith.
