Three other books by John Carroll Brown:

Drama of the Age, a 468 page book which gives fresh insight into the organization, symbolism, historical context, and interpretation of the message of Revelation.  (See what readers have said.)
Drama of the Age presents the message of Revelation as a drama in 7 acts.  It gives the preparation for the drama in chapters 4-11, in which the theater, producer, director, and script are seen, and the theme and plot are revealed.  Some previews of the drama are seen in this section.  Then the play begins in chapter 12.
Acts one and two of the drama reveal the conflict between the forces of Satan and the forces of Christ, first in heaven, then on earth.  Acts three through 6 reveal the judgments of God against the forces of evil on three levels, 1. against the people of the world, 2. against the agencies of Satan, (first Babylon the Harlot, then the Beast and False prophet), and 3. against Satan himself.  Act seven is the outcome in which the faithful are escorted to the new heaven and new earth to live with God and Christ eternally. (Priced at $23.99)

Beyond the Silence, a 179 page paperback book, reexamines what is called the law of silence or the authority of silence.  Some churches have claimed the right to enforce laws upon their members which cannot be read in the Bible, based upon the premise that the silence of the scriptures some work or method is intended to prohibit that might otherwise be done.  All the scriptures used to uphold this teaching are examined, and found to be wanting.  While the scriptural silence of scripture as resulted in some man-made prohibitions in various denomination, this topis has been particularly controversial in Churches of Christ.  (Priced at $13.95)

A Dream of Judgment, a 39 page polemic poem written in rhyming verse.  It begins when a legalistic Christian dreams of standing in the judgment.  As the world comes to an end and all are raised from the dead, he is called before the judgment seat of Christ to give answer for his life.  He proceeds to defend himself for having bound laws upon men which God did not make.  He awakens before his judgment can be pronounced by Christ.  Shaken, he becomes a new man.  The book is divided into two parts: Part One deals with the rejection and condemning of others on the basis of presumed laws, and Part Two shows how this is out of harmony with the nature and characteristics of the new covenant. (Priced at 6.95)

Covenant of Freedom is a bible based examination of the new covenant prophesied in Jeremiah 31:31-34. It shows from scripture that the nature of the covenant is not a document of laws, but a person - Jesus Christ. "The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ" (John 1:17).]
